BioThe majority of Earth has been taken over by England. People have stopped keeping track of years. Expansive hallways cross oceans, duck under water, shoot up into the air. Wars are fought with the knowledge of precisely which soldier will die, and biological weapon after biological weapon is released into the city air.
Blair is eighteen years old. She's a 'marker girl'-- her job is to figure out which patients in the Halls hopsital are going to die, cut their life-support, and give the room to somebody else. She doesn't mind, really. This is how it goes.
